Box competition

The WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. was one of the sponsors of a sports competition organised at the Kraśnik Amphitheatre. Kraśnik decided to promote boxing as a tool for counteracting additions. The organiser of this unique boxing tournament was the Parish Sports Club “Za Bramą” in Kraśnik, established in December 2007. The first coach was Władysław Maciejewski, supported by Karolina Michalczuk, a multiple Polish champion and winner of the World Champion title in Nangbo, China. The current coach at the PKS “Za Bramą” is Marcin Machul. The objective of the club is to encourage children, teenagers and adults to take up sports. Boxing teaches values, self-improvement and discipline. It might seem otherwise, but it is a safe sport and does not have any negative outcomes.

It was on open competition which every resident of our town could attend. Boxing fans could view eight exciting bouts in various age and weight categories. The last bout was decisive for the overall result of the tournament – Kraśnik team won.
