Signing the contract with the Stalowa Wola Commune

On 25/06/2020 a contract was signed between the Stalowa Wola Commune and WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. for the execution of construction works as part of the investment entitled: “Reconstruction of commune road no. 101005R Krzywa Street in Stalowa Wola on the Śródmieście housing complex.”

The contract is a result of the public procurement carried out under the PZP Act by the Central Ordering Party – Stalowowolskie Centrum Usług Wspólnych (SCUW).

WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. signs contract with Zakład Usług Komunalnych Sp. z o.o. in Puławy

On 14 May 2020 a contract was signed between ZUK Puławy (a municipal services company) and WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. for the performance of construction work implemented under the investment project entitled “Preparing the design and conducting technical recultivation of a non-hazardous waste disposal site – Plot No. 1 located within the Municipal Waste Treatment Plant in Puławy.”

The Open Championships of the Lubelskie Province in freestyle wrestling

On 22 February, the Open Championships of the Lubelskie Province in freestyle wrestling were held in School Complex No. 3 in Kraśnik (7 Słowackiego Street) under the patronage of the District Governor of Kraśnik – Andrzej Rolla and the Mayor of Kraśnik – Wojciech Wilk. The competition was attended by 121 sportspersons representing five clubs in the Lubelskie Province, as well as STAL Rzeszów and a club from Koszyce, Slovakia. L.U.K.S SUPLES Kraśnik was rated first in the Club classification.
Awareness of the social responsibility of business is present in the activities of WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. The company has made its social commitment to disseminate the idea of a healthy and active lifestyle, and to promote activities for the benefit of the local community.
Children and young people with athletic talents are the group whom the company wants to support on their way to success. These activities are guided by the convictions that, firstly, healthy habits should be developed from an early age and, secondly, promoting young sports talents is the best way to do so.

Distinction in The Family Business Forum 2019 ranking by “Forbes”

On 10 October 2019, the third out of ten galas scheduled for 2019 was held in the Bristol Tradition & Luxury Hotel in Rzeszów. During these events distinctions were presented in the Family Business Forum 2019 ranking by Forbes. Statues and distinctions were awarded to the most valuable family businesses in the Lubelskie and Podkarpackie Regions.

Wod-Bud is supporting Kraśnik Interschool Sport Club (Kraśnicki Międzyszkolny Klub Sportowy).

Being aware of its corporate social responsibility, WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. is committed to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, championing young local sports talents, and working for the good of the local community. The Company is contributing to the popularisation of sports through a number of measures supporting local initiatives.

WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. is supporting local initiatives, mainly by providing funds to establishments and organisations which bring together young people and students. It is our goal to aid the success of children and teenagers with a talent for sports. In doing so, we believe that first, healthy habits should be fostered from the earliest age, and second, that the best way to do this is by promoting young sports talents. With this goal in mind, we are providing financial support to the Kraśnik Interschool Sport Club (Kraśnicki Międzyszkolny Klub Sportowy).

The finale of a campaign entitled No to Paediatric Cancer (Nie nowotworom u dzieci)

In its operations, WOD-BUD Sp z o.o. demonstrates an awareness of corporate social responsibility placed on businesses. The Company’s social engagement includes the promotion of a healthy and active lifestyle, and activities for the benefit of the local community

On 4 December 2019, the banqueting hall at the Kmicic Hotel housed the finale of a campaign entitled No to Paediatric Cancer (Nie nowotworom u dzieci). This is a nationwide programme run by the Ronald McDonald Foundation (RMHC Chapter in Poland). The main objectives of the programme include the promotion of early diagnostics and prevention, and support for paediatric cancer patients and children suffering from other diseases of affluence. To this end, comprehensive medical tests for young children are performed in special care mobiles. One of these care mobiles has visited the Kraśnicki District eight times.

The meeting at the hotel was an opportunity to show gratitude for the support for the campaign, and for the Dożynki and Maliniaki festivals. The appreciation speeches were delivered by Andrzej Rolla, Head of the Kraśnicki District, Andrzej Cieśla, Deputy Head of the Kraśnicki District, and Roman Bijak, Member of the District Board in Kraśnik.

The 28th International Kraśnik Cup Tournament in freestyle wrestling

Between 05 and 06 October 2019 the sports hall in the Schools Complex No 3 at 7 Słowackiego St. in Kraśnik hosted the 28th International Kraśnik Cup Tournament in freestyle wrestling. As in previous years, the tournament featured men’s and women’s competitors from Poland and 13 other countries – Spain, Israel, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Canada.
