On 4 December 2019, the banqueting hall at the Kmicic Hotel housed the finale of a campaign entitled No to Paediatric Cancer (Nie nowotworom u dzieci). This is a nationwide programme run by the Ronald McDonald Foundation (RMHC Chapter in Poland). The main objectives of the programme include the promotion of early diagnostics and prevention, and support for paediatric cancer patients and children suffering from other diseases of affluence. To this end, comprehensive medical tests for young children are performed in special care mobiles. One of these care mobiles has visited the Kraśnicki District eight times.

The meeting at the hotel was an opportunity to show gratitude for the support for the campaign, and for the Dożynki and Maliniaki festivals. The appreciation speeches were delivered by Andrzej Rolla, Head of the Kraśnicki District, Andrzej Cieśla, Deputy Head of the Kraśnicki District, and Roman Bijak, Member of the District Board in Kraśnik.
