On 28 November 2023, our company signed a contract with the Sandomierz Municipality, represented by Mr Marcin Marzec, Mayor of Sandomierz, for the implementation of the following project: “Repair of Milberta Street in Sandomierz.” In the contract signing process, Wod-Bud Sp. z o.o. was represented by Mr Mirosław Gucwa, Deputy President of the Management Board.

As part of the contract, our company will carry out the repair of municipality road No. 374065T – Milberta Street in Sandomierz.

The works will include the repair of the asphalt-surfaced carriageway, including the road composition, pavements, parking lay-bys and exits, and the the replacement of damaged drainage gullys, signposting and pavement marking, and road safety items.

The task was co-financed from the  Government Road Development Fund.

On 20 October 2023, a contract was signed for the implementation of the following project: “Repair of district roads No. 2717L from km 0+808 to km 1+369, No. 2712L from km 0+000 to km 1+111 and from km 5+060 to km 5+291, and No. 2743L from km 0+400 to km 0+845 and from km 1+289 to km 1+846”.

WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. shall implement the following stages of the investment:

Stage 2 Repair of district road No. 2712L from km 0+000 to km 1+111 and from km 5+060 to km 5+291 in the Gościeradów Commune – PLN 1,365,141.03

Stage 3 Repair of district road No. 2743L from km 0+400 to km 0+845 and from km 1+289 to km 1+846 in the Szastarka Commune – PLN 1,429,366.06

The following works shall be performed under the contract:

• preparatory work,
• earthwork,
• underpasses,
• road structure drainage,
• base and sub-base layers,
• surfaces,
• repaving of existing driveways,
• road elements,
• markings,
• finishing work.

The contract for the aforementioned works was signed by Paweł Kudrel, Governor of the Kraśnik District, Andrzej Misztal, Deputy Governor of the Kraśnik District, Iwona Szymańska, Treasurer of the Kraśnik District, and Jędrzej Wojtaszek, Commercial Representative of the Management Board of WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o.

The project is financed with the resources from the Government Road Development Fund at the request of the Kraśnik District ‒ the District Road Authority in Kraśnik.

The official opening ceremony of a district road Stara Wieś – Wojdat – Stawce – Zdziłowice was held on 10 October 2023. According to the contract, the completion of the works was planned for December 2023. The project included the reconstruction of road No. 2304L along a section with a length of 7,617 metres.

The project tasks included:

1) Road works

a) preparatory work

b) earth work

c) construction of the road foundation

d) construction of the pavement

e) finishing work

f) road furniture (horizontal and vertical road signs, traffic barriers and guardrails),

g) street elements (concrete kerbs, edging, pre-cast concrete edging, covered channels and slope drains),

h) reconstruction of access points to public roads and private properties,

i) drainage work (reconstruction of roadside ditches, reconstruction of drainage culverts under the road prism and access points).

2) bridge works – renovation of bridges at km 11+793 and km 12+999.

 

The total value of the project amounted to PLN 18,200,000.00, including co-financing from the Polish Deal Government Fund: Strategic Investments Programme amounting to PLN 14,725,000.00; PLN 1,000,000.00 from the Batorz Commune, and the remaining PLN 2,475,000.00 from the funds of the Janowski District.

 

The road opening ceremony featured Janowski District Governor – Artur Pizoń, Deputy District Governor – Michał Komacki, Chairman of the District Council – Sławomir Dworak, accompanied by the members of the District Executive Board – Zenon Zyśko and Władysław Sowa, District Councillor – Marian Grela, Head of the Batorz Commune – Henryk Michałek with Commune Treasurer – Emilia Skrzypek, and the Director of the District Roads Authority in Janów Lubelski – Witold Kuźnicki.

WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o., the General Contractor, was represented by Vice President of the Management Board – Mirosław Gucwa, Commercial Proxy – Jędrzej Wojtaszek, and Chief Technical Officer – Adam Drożak.

On 21.09.2023 in Świeciechów (the Annopol Commune), a contract was officially signed by and between the Provincial Roads Authority in Lublin and WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. for the extension of provincial road No. 824 Żyrzyn – Puławy – Opole Lubelskie – Józefów – Annopol, over a section from approx. kilometre 71+590 to approx. kilometre 73+900. The scope of the planned work includes constructing a new roadway, bus bays and cycling paths.

Investment value: PLN 22,932,461.42.

As the General Contractor of the investment, we can contribute to improving the local infrastructure and road safety.

WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. was represented by: President of the Management Board ‒ Zdzisław Adam Wojtaszek, Deputy President of the Management Board ‒ Mirosław Gucwa, Technical Director ‒ Adam Drożak, Operations Director ‒ Damian Drzewosz and Site Manager ‒ Paweł Bierut.

On 6 September 2023, a contract was signed between Poniatowa Commune and WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. for the performance of construction works as part of a project entitled “The modernisation (reconstruction) of commune road No. 108044L, serving as an access road to agricultural land, with a total length of 554.00 m in the village of Obliźniak, Poniatowa Commune”. The works include, i.a., the performance of linear measurements on the existing road, the vertical adjustment of existing downgrades made of paving stones and concrete paving blocks, asphalt surface milling and the performance of asphalt works. The contract is financed from the funds of the Lubelskie Province budget for the construction and modernisation (reconstruction) of access roads to agricultural land and from Poniatowa Commune’s own funds.

We are proud to announce that the conclusion of a contract with the District Roads Authority in Kraśnik for reconstruction of road No. 2726L Wilkołaz-Zakrzówek marks the start of the largest road investment in that district’s history. This extraordinary event will bring significant changes and improvements to the transport infrastructure of our local community.

Our company is aware of the significance and scale of this project. The task we are facing requires us to demonstrate not only technical expertise and experience, but also commitment to the development of our district. We will strive to attain the highest standards of quality and timeliness so as to meet the expectations of both our customers and the local community.

This road investment will be crucial for economic development, safety and communication in our region. The project in question will create new development opportunities as well as improve the living conditions of district residents.

We would like to thank the District Roads Authority in Kraśnik for their trust, and the local community for their support. We are certain that this investment will bring long-term benefits and make the district an even more dynamic and attractive place to live.

On 5 April 2023, a contract was signed between the Świdnik District in Świdnik and WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o. (limited-liability company) for construction works as part of the investment project titled: “The construction of the Świdnik – Lublin transport node including the construction of Dworcowa Street in Świdnik and reconstruction of roads 2104L Minkowice – Krępiec and 2105L Krępiec – Minkowice”. As a result of the investment, a 1.6-kilometre-long road section will be constructed with full infrastructure including a walking path, a cycling lane and road lighting. The work is to be completed within 24 months of the contract signing; however, we are planning to complete the investment by November next year. The contract is financed under the Strategic Investments Programme as part of the Polish Deal ‒ the Government’s flagship economic programme.
