Opening ceremony of a district road Stara Wieś – Wojdat – Stawce – Zdziłowice

The official opening ceremony of a district road Stara Wieś – Wojdat – Stawce – Zdziłowice was held on 10 October 2023. According to the contract, the completion of the works was planned for December 2023. The project included the reconstruction of road No. 2304L along a section with a length of 7,617 metres.

The project tasks included:

1) Road works

a) preparatory work

b) earth work

c) construction of the road foundation

d) construction of the pavement

e) finishing work

f) road furniture (horizontal and vertical road signs, traffic barriers and guardrails),

g) street elements (concrete kerbs, edging, pre-cast concrete edging, covered channels and slope drains),

h) reconstruction of access points to public roads and private properties,

i) drainage work (reconstruction of roadside ditches, reconstruction of drainage culverts under the road prism and access points).

2) bridge works – renovation of bridges at km 11+793 and km 12+999.

The total value of the project amounted to PLN 18,200,000.00, including co-financing from the Polish Deal Government Fund: Strategic Investments Programme amounting to PLN 14,725,000.00; PLN 1,000,000.00 from the Batorz Commune, and the remaining PLN 2,475,000.00 from the funds of the Janowski District.

The road opening ceremony featured Janowski District Governor – Artur Pizoń, Deputy District Governor – Michał Komacki, Chairman of the District Council – Sławomir Dworak, accompanied by the members of the District Executive Board – Zenon Zyśko and Władysław Sowa, District Councillor – Marian Grela, Head of the Batorz Commune – Henryk Michałek with Commune Treasurer – Emilia Skrzypek, and the Director of the District Roads Authority in Janów Lubelski – Witold Kuźnicki.

WOD-BUD Sp. z o.o., the General Contractor, was represented by Vice President of the Management Board – Mirosław Gucwa, Commercial Proxy – Jędrzej Wojtaszek, and Chief Technical Officer – Adam Drożak.
